Before the start of the parliamentary monsoon sessions on Saturday, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Parliamentary Party met at Pragati Bhavan under the guidance of the Chief Minister.

Ankur Chatterjee: Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrashekar Rao exhorted TRS MPs on Saturday to speak out in both Houses of Parliament against the Central government’s “partisan attitude” against Telangana.

On Saturday, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Parliamentary Party met at Pragati Bhavan under the supervision of the Chief Minister prior to the beginning of the parliamentary monsoon sessions.

Mr Rao stressed that they have to put a halt to the BJP’s preposterous conduct of infringing their rights, along with the promises of state division, in conjunction with opposition MPs.

According to the Chief Minister, the country’s growth is stagnated in all areas due to the Central government’s anti-people policies.

He emphasized that there is a need to resist the BJP government at the Centre and urged MPs to use both Houses of Parliament the appropriate platform for doing so.

“The Modi government has never encouraged Telangana, which is progressing with economic discipline but is engaged in machinations to obstruct growth,” KCR stated.

Mr Rao emphasised to the MPs that Telangana has a track record of repayments with not a single day or paisa of default in the state’s eight years of its existence.

“It is very upsetting to see that Prime Minister Modi has taken a blind eye to Telangana, which is progressing unimpeded under the regime, and wants to economically repress Telangana in the pretext of norms,” Mr Rao stated.

“The BJP administration should clarify the Centre’s policies against Telangana are reaching BJP social media groups. It is a crime to deliberately leak information about the country’s and states’ financial affairs in order to spread lies and misinformation about the Telangana government,” Mr Rao stated.

He made it quite clear to the MPs that the BJP should be called to account including both Houses of Parliament for such corrupt and dumb conduct.

Upon the instance, KCR remarked that whatever progress happens in the country increases to the GDP.

He claims that Telangana is one of just eight states in the country that contribute a substantial part of the country’s GDP.

How much money has been transferred from Telangana to the Centre in the last eight years? How much money has the Centre sent to Telangana? Mr Rao inquired.

“If we look at the data, even the common guy would see the Central government’s unfairness to Telangana,” remarked the Chief Minister.
